Zero-Tolerance Policy Against CSAE & CSAM

Perception and Matang Vivah uphold an absolute, non-negotiable zero-tolerance policy toward:

• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual, audio, or textual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, simulated sexual activity, or inappropriate sexual exploitation.
• Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any grooming, solicitation, coercion, harassment, or commercial exploitation involving a minor (any person under 18 years of age).
• Child Endangerment: Any action, profile information, or communication that compromises the welfare, safety, or dignity of children.

Any account found attempting to publish, request, distribute, or facilitate CSAE or CSAM will be immediately banned, permanently deleted, and reported without delay to law enforcement authorities.

Strict Adult-Only (18+) Service Policy

Matang Vivah is strictly an adult-only matrimonial service. Minors are not permitted on the platform under any circumstances:

• Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years old (and of legal marriageable age under Indian law: 18+ for brides, 21+ for grooms) to register an account or browse matrimonial profiles.
• Age Verification: During registration, users are required to submit their exact date of birth. Our systems automatically block anyone under 18 years of age from registering.
• KYC & Identity Verification: Users are encouraged and required to provide government-issued identity proofs (e.g. Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID) to verify age and identity before member profiles are officially verified and approved.
• Immediate Termination of Minors: If we discover or have reason to believe that a registered user is under the legal age of 18, their account will be deactivated immediately and their data removed.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

Users are strictly prohibited from using the Matang Vivah application or web service to:

• Upload, transmit, store, or display photographs or videos depicting minors, regardless of context.
• Engage in grooming behaviors, romantic advances toward minors, or soliciting contact details of minors.
• Share links, third-party URLs, or references directing users to external platforms hosting child abuse or exploitation material.
• Use any language, text, or references in profiles, bios, or messages that promotes, trivializes, or references child sexual abuse or child exploitation.
• Create fraudulent or proxy accounts representing minors.

Detection, Moderation & Technical Safeguards

To uphold these standards and safeguard our community, Perception implements multi-layered safety mechanisms:

• Mandatory Photo Review: All member profile photographs and gallery images undergo review before or upon publication to ensure no images of minors, nudity, or inappropriate material are accepted.
• Identity Verification: Email address verification via OTP (One-Time Password) is mandatory during registration to verify user identity.
• Profile Approval Workflow: Member profiles go through administrative validation where documents and profile details are inspected by our operations team.
• Keyword & Text Screening: In-app messaging and profile bios are scanned for prohibited terms and abusive language.
• Swift Enforcement Action: When a violation is identified, administrators have tools to instantly suspend accounts, terminate active sessions, block IP addresses, and flag records for law enforcement reporting.

How to Report CSAE or Inappropriate Conduct

We provide multiple direct and easy channels for users and the public to report any safety violations or concerns:

Method 1: In-App Reporting (Flutter Mobile Application)

1. Navigate to the profile of the user you wish to report.
2. Tap the Menu / More options (⋮) icon on the profile card or screen.
3. Select Report Profile.
4. Choose Underage User / Child Safety Concern or provide specific details in the report box.
5. Submit the report. Our safety team reviews reported profiles as a priority.

Law Enforcement Cooperation & Reporting

Perception complies fully with all applicable legal requirements and actively assists law enforcement authorities in safeguarding children:

• Mandatory Legal Reporting: In accordance with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Information Technology Act 2000, and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, any confirmed instance of CSAE or CSAM is promptly escalated to Indian law enforcement authorities.
• National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal: Reports are filed with the Cyber Crime Cell of the Government of India via cybercrime.gov.in and relevant State Police Cyber Crime units.
• International Cooperation (NCMEC): Where applicable, instances involving CSAM/CSAE will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and relevant international child protection bodies.
• Evidence Preservation: When a child safety incident is reported, technical logs (including IP addresses, timestamps, account credentials, and upload data) are securely preserved for law enforcement investigation.
